why we have chosen to remake forest gump

We have chosen to recreate the opening sequence of Forest Gump as we feel that it will be quite challenging and will push our camera and editing abilities. We found it interesting how the opening sequence was done in one fluent shot which we thought would be quite demanding to recreate and would help improve our camera abilities. Our scenary and props will be limited, however we hope to recreate the sequence as close to the original as possible using the resources we have.
