The difference between film trailers and a film opening.
a film trailer consists of giving out information about the soon to be released film, it provides a montage of clips to the viewer to sell the movie and get the audience attracted to the film, the title of the film is most commonly shown at the end of the trailer, with listings of actors, directors and owners being shown throughout the clip. also at the end of the trailer you would probably see institutions logo to show who the film is done by.
a film opening is very much more detailed in what is provided in the clip such as; details of the cast and crew with listings of the institution and the people who produced the film, the films title will be shown, their will be a introduction to a character or a character type to let the audience get a feel and build a bond between the film. there will be indication of setting, places and indication of a historical time period, also information regarding mood and toe, a signature theme tune could be used. we Will see information about genre and see patterns and types of editing that will be echoed in the remainder of the film, it also sets the film up and lastly it shows the audience use of mise and cinematography.
